Changsha China Travel
China has behaved very well in recent years, and many travellers have not yet discovered all the places. So the list of the best places in China is very long and can go on as long as a book. For your comfort, I have selected a few places that everyone should visit at least once in their life.
As you know, my team and I have travelled to various cities in China over the past year. Beijing and Shanghai are certainly worth a visit, but we left China after spending some time in smaller, more provincial cities. The city of Hengyang is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Henan Province with a population of about 1.5 million.
It is the equivalent of a pilgrimage place for Chinese tourists and the birthplace of Chairman Mao Zedong. Among the sights are Beijing, named after Kublai, who founded the Imperial College in 1287, and the Great Hall of the People.
Originally built in 976 during the Song Dynasty, the Academy survived the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. It is considered the cradle of Huxiang culture and means the Hunan Province Cultural School. In the Qing Dynasty, it was renamed Hunan Higher School in honor of its founder, Qing Qing, and is now a university.
Lu was inspired by the famous painter and poet Xu Zhi Mo, who traveled here with his wife and two sons, to name just two. The Trestle Bridge was built at the end of the 19th century in honour of Lu's father, the Emperor of Hunan, and has become a symbol of the city. After the unification of the country, this city was founded as a county and became the capital - state during the Qing Dynasty.
To learn more about modern Chinese history, follow in the footsteps of the Great Men of China. This is the first Chinese city to be recognized by UNESCO as a creative city for media art and is attributed to the work of famous artists such as Xu Zhi Mo, Lu Shih-zhi and Xu Zhijun. Another amazing fact about China is that it does not disappoint. Depending on your interests, you have many different travel options, but we will learn more later.
If you like, you can also visit the magnificent Great Wall of Beijing and meet the historic terracotta warriors of Xian. Among the top recommendations for visiting China is the Summer Palace, located in the heart of the city and home to some of China's most famous monuments, such as the Forbidden City.
It is a beautiful place to see the more traditional Chinese ways of life and one of the most photographic sites I have ever seen in China. Changsha has a rich historical heritage, including the Great Wall of China, the last remaining ancient wall in the world, as well as many other ancient monuments. The most notable highlight on our list of must-see places in China is the Museum of the Chinese Revolution. This museum is unique in China, as it is the only museum of its kind outside of Beijing or Shanghai.
Shaoshan, 100 kilometres from Changsha, is the birthplace of China's revolutionary leaders and offers visitors an insight into the years they grew up in Beijing. Shaoshon (Shao Shan) is the birthplace of Mao Zedong, the most famous revolutionary leader in China. He had an intangible quality that grew into a great leader, a leader with a deep self-confidence - faith and passion for freedom.
Qingdao is cool and airy, and therefore a great place to refresh and recover from the heat and pollution of Beijing and Shanghai. From Chinese to Germans, Japanese and back to Chinese, it has a not - so - great beach to check out, as well as some great views of the city.
